In spring when nature seems to smile
and the whole wide world comes alive
I touch the sleeping buds that wake
to the gentle rays at daybreak
In summer when the woods are green
and the streching fields lie serene
I gaze into the blue sky
and my heart soars with the birds that fly
In autumn when the leaves turn
a thousand different shades of auburn
I watch the gently swaying trees
that dance to the humming breeze
In winter when it begins to snow
and the icy rivers cease to flow
I sing this wistful season's song
as I wait for spring to come along
