POTHANA TELUGU FONT

POTHANA TrueType font which has been used in these archives was developed by
img Dr. K. Desikachary
of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Frequent upgrade to Windows operating system and browsers has necessitated the need for establishing common standards for language fonts. Older TrueType fonts are no longer compatible with the newer versions of Windows or Browsers and they are now deemed non-standard. Open Type Unicode font standards proposed by the Unicode Consortium is gradually being implemented by all font developers.

A Unicode based read-only version of Pothana font is available from Dr.Desikachary at no cost.
